1 week agoThe streets of Caracas were nearly deserted this morning following the arrest of Maduro. As the hours passed, citizens began to venture out to stock up on food, medicine, and gasoline, amidst long lines, a military presence in key areas, and an atmosphere of tension and uncertainty.
Lavrov discussed the situation in Venezuela with the Belarusian Foreign Minister. They emphasized the need to immediately release Maduro and reinstate him as head of state, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
